Welcome to the sale of my Moto Guzzi Le Mans 2 converted to the earlier Le Mans style. It’s a 1979 model, the year the mk2 came out and changed style from the Le Mans model.
I’ve had this wonderful bike since 2013 and it’s been a joy to own, comfortable and reliable for French holidays commuting and weekends. This bike has the benefit of having a RAM clutch fitted by NBS Nigel. It also has an upgraded brushless charging system that’s no longer available, electronic ignition and an external filter kit to save taking the sump off to change the oil. This Guzzi has a great patina and runs very well though smokes a very small amount when revs rise. I’ll included a set of Gilardoni 83mm barrels as I was considering replacing the barrels and pistons. I’m only selling as i’ve other bikes and this one hasn’t been used much recently. This is a very cool looking and sounding bike with the Lanfranconi competition exhausts and oozes character with nice touches like the rare Gaman seat (with a tiny tear) Harris filler cap and alloy dash mount.
