I bought this lovely Jaguar XK from Chiltern Jaguar just over 4 years ago in March 2022. I was looking for a Jaguar XK in either Radiant Red or British Racing Green, both colours are quite rare.
I was looking for something a bit special that was reliable, sporty, luxurious, easy to drive, and comfortable. The Jaguar XK has been all of those.
This XK is finished in Radiant Red with beige leather interior. It has a heated windscreen and heated seats. It has beige and black over mats to protect the carpet.
The jaguar paintwork has been ceramic coated which has been topped up periodically. This gives it a nice shine, some protection to the paintwork, and is easier to maintain.
The common problem of the air con drain tube was sorted and replaced when I purchased the car in March 2022.
In March 2022 (68k) the front brake discs and front pads were replaced. I had the rear discs and pads replaced in June 2023 (71k).
Further maintainance that has been carried out during my ownership:
September 2023 (71k) - gearbox oil change
May 2024 (73k) - as part of the service, the rear underside/ subframe was treated with Lanoguard
June 2024 (74k) - the air con condenser was replaced
October 2025 - Lanoguard rear subframe/ suspension treatment refreshed/ topped up
March 2026 (78k) - the front suspension banana arms were replaced following the MOT
The service record shows services at 10k, 17k, 22k, 25k, 28k, 31k, 32k, 34k, 42k, 44k, 51k, 52k, 60k, 68k, 68k, 73k.
I have loved owning and driving this Jaguar XK and it still feels special. I personally think Radient Red it is one of the best colours for this model. And I personally prefer lighter interiors.
My private circumstances have now changed with a baby grandson and my partner's new dog, which means I am no longer able to drive it as much as I would like.
