3 years ago I was in the Karoo an area in the Eastern Cape of South Africa and spotted the XR leaning against the shed of athe farm house, I made the farmer an offer dismantled it and loaded it into the back of the Subaru..
3 months ago I decided to restore, I was lucky it was still about 80% complete.
Motor rebuilt with new piston kit, all oil seals replaced an gaskets..
A new muffler from Musket Mufflers was fitted
