Description
Mercedes 230e 1982. 2. 3l 4-speed presented in astonishing original and clean condition showing zero signs of rust anywhere. 46k miles. Paint appears to be original with only 1 or 2 areas of minor touch up (rear valance and front lower wing - not been touched by me so these are very old repairs). Mileage is believed to be genuine (i’m certain if it), there is enough history that this checks out and the condition shows it. I’ve only ever used it in the summer, then stored over winter. Registered as historic vehicle. So no tax or MOT to worry about, however it was MOT’d last year and has covered just a few miles since. I’ve owned the car since 2018 (bought from a trader for my collection) but didn’t register it in my name until 2023 when I first wanted to register it as a historic vehicle. Shows 1 former keeper on the log book and was originally ordered and purchased in the Middle East by a U. K. serviceman - brand new (RHD). This was quite commonplace back then. The car was imported straight back to the UK which can also be seen in the history record. I think you will struggle to find a better more honest example. I’ve priced the car to sell as I’ve lost interest in maintaining the cars and moving on to a bike collection now. Currently it’s slightly lowered to improve the stance and handling, I have the original springs which will be supplied and can be refitted by the new owner if you want it back to completely original. Car always starts on the button, drives flawlessly and has always passed its MOT’s with flying colours. £12000, no offers, this car is a steal at this money. You won’t find a better one at this money!
