1996 MGF 1. 8 – Flame Red | Early N-Reg | Original Spec | Excellent Condition
A very well-presented early 1996 MGF (N-reg), finished in Flame Red with its original hood and red Fusion fabric interior. This is an honest example that retains its original character and presents beautifully. It has an MOT until 21/ 5/ 27 (with no advisories).
The car was supplied new on 22/ 2/ 96 by Howards Rover of Weston-super-Mare and I have the original bill of sale.
The second owner purchased the car on 26/ 7/ 01 (7k miles) and I bought it on 11/ 5/ 14 (33k miles).
I wanted a well presented car and this was the best available at the time. It's been garaged all it's life and kept under a car cover.
The engine was replaced in 2007 at 15k miles (documented) and head gasket was replaced in 2011 (documented).
Stainless steel coolant pipes are fitted. Water pump, alternator belt, cambelt, tensioner and pulley last replaced by Rough Luck Racing in 2022 at 37k miles (documented).
I have had no issues whatsoever during my ownership and have various invoices/ receipts including all MOTs. I've owned the car for nearly 12 years and following the purchase of another classic, now is the time to let it go to a new owner. I'll be sad to see it go, but you can't keep them all. I've only used it during the summer months, attending local car club events and shows.
As you will see from the photos, the car presents very well and it always receives positive comments.
