Description
1967 MK1 Triumph Vitesse 2. 0 with Overdrive.
Lovely running and driving project perfect as a summer pub car.
A rare saloon body, most of which have been converted to Convertibles by now which is a shame as they are such a great looking little cars in saloon form.
I bought to do some basic service work (all it really needs imo) with the intentions of using it on the weekend.
It really needs an oil and filter change, new plugs, gearbox service and some new brake pads.
I have the service items (bar brake pads) and they will be included in the sale.
Unfortunately with work and the purchase of a Lotus Elise, the Vitesse is just sitting and not getting any use, the battery has since gone flat and will need a replacement to start up.
There is some difficulty getting into 1st gear from a standstill, so this is achieved by going from second.
This was on my list of things to do.
When I purchased it, I drove it 50 miles from Sheerness back to Sandwich, Kent where it is currently located without any issue.
Although I would recommend it be trailered away.
Body work is generally okay for a car that I believe has probably never been garaged, the odd bit of bubbling but nothing serious.
The only real ‘hole’ being by the front end as seen in pictures.
Open to sensible offers.
Thanks, Josh.
Sandwich, Kent
