Description
Vocative of the trials bikes of the forties and fifties, the Royal Enfield 500T was developed by Watsonian Squire Ltd as practical on-road machines with period trials features.
The Classic 'T' range was based on the standard 500 cc Bullet. Changes to the standard specification included trials pattern tyres, alloy mudguards, sprung single seat, upswept exhaust and trials handlebars. Electrical and carburettor filter components were repositioned to give a simple and uncluttered appearance, and indicators and mirrors were provided to retain road legality. The fuel tank was finished in silver, with special graphics. This bike has an electic start - currently disconnected.
With one owner form new this bike is a peach. Last on the road in 2024 the bike has been dry stored since that date in the owners study. Recently she has had a new battery, new E10 fuel hose , oil refresh and ready for a summer on the road
