Description
Daimler Sovereign Series 1 - 1972 2. 8 Automatic
The Eccentric English Thoroughbred That Refuses to Be Forgotten
One of only 8 remaining 2. 8 examples still in the United Kingdom (Source; howmanyleft. com)
Discovered as a true barn find in late 2024, this dignified Daimler had slumbered peacefully since 1983. Now, after over 200 hours of painstaking recommissioning by a former Stratstone mechanic with more than 40 years' experience in the industry, she has been coaxed back to her former glory - while deliberately retaining her wonderfully original character.
Presented in rare Ascot Fawn coachwork with sumptuous contrasting Red leather interior, she is mechanically robust, tax-exempt, and comes complete with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate detailing her full original build specification.
The car had an MOT inspection carried out in September 2025 which was completed with no advisories. A future MOT is not mandatory.

This is no trailer queen or over-restored show pony. She is a proper, honest, slightly eccentric British classic that has been brought back to life with love, respect, and just enough mechanical sympathy to make her reliable and enjoyable once more.
She now seeks a new keeper - someone who appreciates originality, heritage, and a touch of delightful British quirkiness.
