Innocenti Lambretta 125 LD, model ’53, in its classic sand/ beige colour, an excellent base both for those who want to restore it to mint condition and for those who would prefer to keep it as it is; indeed, cleaned up nicely, it would present well as a well-preserved example, and personally I would opt for the second option—keeping it as it is—because it’s increasingly hard to find preserved items like this, sound, complete and that run. Anyway, I assume a good service will be necessary, plus new tyres and other bits to keep it running reliably and safely. I have the PRA registration extract in white, or rather the plate is present but not registered with the PRA, as was often the case for motorcycles of the era; in fact it’s not uncommon, it has happened to me in the past as well, do your own research so everyone can be at ease.
