Description
I’m selling this iconic Innocenti Lambretta 175 TV from 1958, restored several years ago and used only a little, but fortunately kept indoors at home in the garage, where it was in good company with other Lambretta models. At the time, the whole bike was restored, including the engine rebuilt from scratch; it starts up brilliantly, and above all it has a lovely sound, but I’d recommend a proper service, because left standing not everything will work perfectly later, even if parked everything was working perfectly. Although not very noticeable, it is light blue in colour, its original shade with which it was born. At the moment the front mudguard has been damaged, probably in transit, the paint has two cracks on both sides, toward the front of the mudguard. The odometer shows 52692 km from new, but the former owner assures me he did not clock more than 1000 since the restoration; for him, the greatest pleasure was owning this rather rare model and seeing it in his collection, rather than using it. Probably the age of the former owner also prevented him from using it with agility/ ease. What advice would you give to someone looking for a Lambretta? Opting for rare models like this one is never a loss, they always retain their value. It has new plates because it was re-registered in 2002, anyway it was registered in Treviso, and for enthusiasts of the “old plate”, you can now have it back by making a request and paying the due charges.
