Description
I’m here to offer you this Lancia Fulvia Coupé Zagato 1300 S from 1970, which I have a soft spot for; in fact, I’m using it in various events, and there are many reasons, even though the first is that I like almost every car designed, crafted and built by Zagato, and this one is among the most beautiful, staying down to earth, i. e., at a relatively low value considering what the car is and its rarity, and then it’s the S model, with a bit more horsepower, 1300 cc displacement, yet keeping the four-speed gearbox, the classic long lever, bumpers still all in stainless steel, in fact there are no rubber traces, the line remains clean from the first series. Another feature of the S version is the oil cooler, which benefits the engine, more oil, and above all, keeping it at a low temperature, the properties of the oil itself remain almost intact even with the engine under strain for a long period/ distance, like hill climbs. Apart from all this, I like it because it’s white. Regarding the plates, beware, they are only decorative, it has white plates with the county/ province mark, because it was re-registered in the eighties, but still from the same family who had bought it new in 1970, therefore, if desired, it can be returned to the first plate, the one many people ask me for, the original one, which, anyway, is still Pordenone. Car viewable in Roncade, Treviso; appointment recommended, thanks. Tel. the details below - Livio Olivotto
