This is an honest running and driving 51 yr old classic. Could be an excellent fast road car project, but very usable as is. The paint is rattle can finished on the new sills and mismatched, although fits with the character of the car, boot floor is a little thin in places and the car although very usable hasn't done many miles in the last few years. I've put it back on the road and used the Spitfire a lot this spring, for 10 - 20 mile runs, twice weekly and all seems well. It's excellent fun and full of charm.
