The Murena has three front seats, a mid-engine layout, and a body made largely of plastic, making it a truly unique design.
The car drives phenomenally, is very comfortable, and feels typically French. No creaking! The velvet upholstery on the front seats enhances the feeling of sitting on a comfortable couch, like Grandma's.
The 2. 2-liter engine with 118 hp accelerates the car to 100 km/ h in 9. 3 seconds and guarantees a top speed of 200 km/ h. In short, it's comfortable, yet dynamic.
A total of 11, 000 Murenas were produced in all versions, while the flagship 2. 2 variant was produced in fewer than 5, 000 units.
The Talbot underwent a major service after many years of disuse, including:
– front shock absorbers
– front stabilizer bar
– rear wishbone repair
– front and rear brakes
– new tires
– new ignition cables, spark plugs, cap, and rotor
– all fluids
and in 2025 made 10, 000 km without any problems.
