1972 Danbury conversion crossover year T2 bay window in excellent condition. Westfalia roof. Porsche Fuchs alloys & upgraded breaking system. 76k original miles. RHD. Rust-free, Ziebart treatment completed when the van was new. Full history with documents, MOT’s & work completed. Original Danbury interior. 1972 was the cross-over “bastard” year which benefits from early bay features (prettier early-bay look), and with late bay mechanicals (better suspension/ mechanics). Original roof, solid chassis. Structurally excellent, mostly original. Owned the vehicle 22 years, purchased from a VW mechanic who wrote a little booklet all about “Bertie Bus”! The interior roof needs replacing as there are a few rips in the upholstery. The rest of the original interior is in good condition with the seats having been reupholstered in recent years.
