Description
This is a rare Doctor’s 3/ 4 coupe Bullnose Morris Oxford built in 1926.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed driving this car for the past 12 years in which time I have covered 2, 500 miles, regularly attending club rallies.
It drives well and has been very reliable.
The previous owner had recently commissioned an engine re-build with re-bore, replacement rings and guides, re ground crankshaft and re-metalled big ends and main bearings.
He had also replaced the back axle with an Oxford large drum type and replaced the clutch and thrust bearing.
The hood was recovered leaving the original intact.
Front and rear brake linings were renewed.
Glass replaced with Triplex.
Floor covering is original pyramid matting.
Recently recovered fawn Bedford cord upholstery.
Original fascia with instruments including smoker’s companion.
Five tyres in very good condition.
Chassis in good condition, underneath has been recently cleaned, primed and painted.
Previous owner had the car re-painted back to its original brown colour. Paintwork overall is good, but a little worn in places.
All chrome trim is intact and in good condition.
Modern in-line fuel filter.
Dynometer has been re-built, but still only works intermittently.
Original calometer.
Spares with 3 half-shafts ( one new) and magneto.
Many original tools, logbook, service manuals and Morris bibliography.
