Description
Part restored MK 1. I imported 2 from America, completely restored one and now using it, the one I am selling I brought for spares which I didn’t need, so during covid started to restore, must have been mad, but it kept me occupied !Body completely stripped back to bare metal, any rust cut out new repair panels made welded in, good quality spray job in mettalic silver and it suits the car, photos don’t do it justice. Engine overhauled, and replaced into car. New suspension joints, brake discs. rechromed bumpers Converted to RHD . stainless exhaust, new clutch Needs retrimming and final finishing. lost a bit of interest having already restored one, also got diverted and in the middle of restoring a basket case MGTC. Probably a lot of things I have done I have forgotten to mention. Best way is to come and view it, and have a chat. Not registered but it’s on NOVA, and relatively simple to get a age related number from DVLA when the car is completed. Now the Mk 1 Jaguar is relatively quite rare compared to the MK 2When I purchased from America, it had been stored for a long time, and the owner had just started to restore, and his first job was to have the wheels repainted red and new tyres. Then he had heart problems, and I imported it !
