Here is my Ulez compliant E39 525i in the lovely Topaz blue.

I’ve owned the car since July last year and was previously owned by an elderly couple since 2004 and had been off the road for a couple years due to the Ulez expansion. However now the car is Ulez compliant using emissions certification from BMW.
Lots of work carried out in my ownership including but not limited to:
Full service carried out 18/ 5/ 2026 (Air, pollen, brake fluid and Castrol 5w40oil as recommended by BMW)
Gearbox oil change using Genuine BMW oil
New spark plugs
New rocker cover + gasket set
Front anti roll bar links and bushes
Both drive belts replaced
New alternator
Mot expires the 4th of July however will be put through a new one this week with plenty of work carried out prior - updated 18/ 5/ 26

Cheers, LiamThe car had previously been owned by the parents of a work colleague who had the car since 2004 and had been off the road for a couple of years due to the Ulez expansion. I originally had helped get the car Ulez compliant via submitting the emissions certificate from BMW to TfL however ended up buying the car as my current daily driver at the time had just sold. It has full service history only missing one service early on and missing the couple years it was off the road however only covering just over 5 thousand miles within that period. This car has been maintained by my colleague who is a very experienced vehicle technician and has had the underside of the vehicle steam cleaned on multiple occasions leaving for a very clean shell with videos to show. I already have a 1996 BMW 328i and absolutely love this 525i also. Little touches like the dealership plates and sticker really make this car stand out and give it an original look, it definitely earns its fair share of compliments. It’s a fantastic car for motorway driving which is mostly what I do in it. The cruise control makes long journeys a breeze and the smooth automatic gearbox is lovely also. Such a comfortable car also with plenty of room for passengers in the rear and boot space also, aswell as the Thule roof racks included in the sale.
Unfortunately the imminent arrival of a third car forces this sale and means I no longer have space for it. Absolutely fantastic car and I will miss it dearly.
