Description
An exceptional 1968 Morris Minor convertible, featuring 1098cc engine, 4-speed manual gearbox, and just 76, 000 miles from new (3, 000 covered during our 17 year ownership). He has had just one original owner from new before being professionally converted by the legendary Charles Ware Centre, from whom we then purchased him directly. He has been beautifully maintained with a comprehensive history file, has never been driven in the wet while in our care, and despite being age-exempt, boasts a flawless history of passing every government MOT test. Remaining strictly to his highly desirable original specification, his only modern enhancements are a brake servo upgrade and rear seatbelts for added family safety and peace of mind. We bought him for my 40th birthday, as I have always dreamed of owning one, especially the same age as me. He instantly stands out in his factory-correct Snowberry White paint, and what makes him truly unique is the immense peace of mind that comes from knowing he was converted and supplied directly by the Charles Ware Centre; we even have the irreplaceable original build receipts and fascinating photographs of him inside their workshop during the conversion process. Our favourite thing about him is the memories we made taking him to classic car shows, his iconic 1960s dashboard layout and steering wheel making him a crowd favourite yet still driving with modern confidence thanks to a brake servo upgrade, rear seatbelts for family safety, and a negative earth conversion for total electrical reliability. Sitting on an excellent set of tires that require no replacement, he has been a deeply loved part of our family for nearly two decades. We are only parting with him now because my son is passing his driving test and needs a first car, meaning we simply have no more garage room.
