Here for sale is my super cool classic vw camper van/ day van
It’s a 1982 aircooled original panel van that hasn’t had windows cut into it! Like the majority of vans. It’s registered as a historic vehicle on the logbook meaning it is mot exempt and free to tax!
It’s got a super cool one off interior that really needs to be seen to be appreciated! The attention to detail is unbelievable. The leather sofa folds out into a bed and there is a gas night heater, custom re-trimmed Porsche seats in the front too. I’ve just spent the last weekend at goodwood in the van (6 hour round trip) and it was faultless. The van drives great and gets lots of attention. It’s had a Webber carb fitted and electronic ignition, has even been on the dyno to be tuned up and makes a whopping 68bhp! It’s been really reliable for me and the previous owner who was a family friend.
The underneath of the van is in good shape with no rust and has had a new fuel tank fitted.
This really is a good chance to own a one off custom van, perfect for weekends away and car shows. Any inspections and test drives welcome.
