Volvo S60 2. 4 T5 Sport SE Manual * Facelift * Spaceball Gearbox * BBS Nebulas * Sunroof * Low Tax
Here for sale is my Volvo S60 T5 SE Manual with spaceball gearbox and BBS Nebulas. It was registered before March 2006 and is therefore also in the lower tax bracket.
It is very rare you get a facelift T5 with the spaceball, lower tax, Nebulas and sunroof. It is the 2. 4 T5 so by far the most reliable and economical. It is almost R performance without R issues.
It has just had a service at Volvo and close to £1600 spent since November.
It is on BC Racing Coilovers and wheel spacers. It is stances beautifully and the photos don’t do this justice.
Spec includes:
* Sunroof
* Cruise control
* Heated seats
* Satnav
* Volvo On Call
* BBS Nebulas
* SE model
* Spaceball
* Half leather seats
It has been very well looked after. The important stuff:
* Strong service history - 12 stamps plus an invoice, the gap was when it was owned by a Volvo technician
* Cambelt history documented. Previous owner bought from the Volvo technician and had the Cambelt changed but not sure if this was documented. In great condition.
* PCV system is in great condition.
* Recent Volvo main dealer service.
* Recent work with Volvo and HiPerformance Sunderland totalling £1600. This has included fixing the ABS system, new track rods and track rod ends, and fixing ALL previous MOT advisories at Volvo using Volvo parts. This included a coolant leak, a gearbox mount, suspension strut and fixing an oil leak. MOT runs until end of October.
* Sunroof, cruise control, parking sensors, pop up satnav, and heated seats all work.
* Clutch was replaced at 80k and is perfect to this day.
Bad (ish) parts:
* Paintwork is 90% great, few scratches and scuffs pictured.
* Seat bolster has a slight rip pictured.
* Wheels need a refurb.
* Four C service light comes on. Volvo main technician has confirmed this is due to the BC Racing Coilovers. He could have cleared the code but it would pop up again due to these.
* Despite a recent front wheel alignment (proof in photos), Volvo’s work on the suspension strut has misaligned them again (infuriating). They don’t have the tech to fix this but it’s a £72 job at Kwikfit. If the price agreed is enough I am willing to do this for the seller.
The car also has Volvo On Call and a SIM card will make the in-car telephone work. This is not in the pictures as I forgot to take a photo but the telephone is in the centre compartment.
The BBS Nebula alloys are very rare and also worth a fair bit.
As I said, it is very rare to find a T5 with this spec and model year in the lower tax bracket.
Reason for sale: moving out of the parents house and won’t need a car in the big smoke. I originally bought this as my dad had a T5 when I was younger and it was my achievable dream car. I have looked after it very well and it deserves to go to a good home.
