Description
Advertising on behalf of owner. Car parked up for about 5 years (as of 2026) but driven daily before that.
Needs trailered away and recommissioning. An excellent base for this as it is solid enough - having owned and driven S124's which were less so.
The bodywork is good, but has rust in several of usual places for these cars - around side estate window frames, but, unusually hardly any on the wings/ wheel arches (really), underside is good.
The upholstery and trim is beautiful despite the dust and the few years of neglect and is still sumptuous black leather all round - extremely little wear.
The above details are from an inspection of the car in situ by myself. Upon chatting with the owner he confirmed that it was running and being driven before parked up, the latter due to a change in his circumstances and relocation.
That said, whenever I viewed the car it is not running now, flat battery and, unfortunately, the owner has attempted to change the multi stalk on the steering column and in doing so has dismantled the associated electrical connections etc on the column.
The few photographs that I have attached give a generallly good impression of the car - which they should despite some of the negatives in the description above.
There is a car lift at the location for anyone who is genuinely interested and comes along to view.
The car is genuinely worth recommissioning and getting on the road again. Yes it will need a bit of work, but it'll be worth it as this model is/ was the top of its era of S124's .
Please contact me only if you're genuinely interested and I will be happy to put you in direct touch with the owner. The price may be negotiable but only upon viewing.
The car is located on the Ballymena side of Portglenone, Co. Antrim in Northern Ireland.
Again please , genuine enquiries only by those who are up for a worthwhile challenge.
