Description
1973 Triumph Bonneville T120 650 – Matching Numbers – Original Survivor Requiring Recommissioning
1973 Triumph Bonneville T120 650cc, matching frame and engine numbers, presented in largely original and unrestored condition.
One of the final years of production for the classic 650 Bonneville before Triumph moved to the larger-capacity T140 models, making this a desirable late-production T120.
The motorcycle was imported from the Republic of Ireland. UK import duties and taxes have been paid, however the bike has never been UK registered as it required recommissioning before being presented for MOT.
Showing approximately 7, 000 miles on the speedometer.
The engine is free and has run previously but has been in storage for around five years. It will require recommissioning before use, including re-gasketing, servicing and general set-up.
The bike appears substantially complete and retains its original character and patina. Finished in attractive blue and silver coachwork with gold lining, an uncommon colour scheme not often seen on surviving T120s.
The motorcycle has not been restored and retains much of its original factory character, making it an excellent candidate for sympathetic recommissioning rather than a full restoration.

A rare opportunity to acquire a matching-numbers Meriden Bonneville that has survived in honest, unrestored condition. Increasingly difficult to find complete and unmolested examples with correct paperwork and matching numbers.
Ideal for a Triumph enthusiast looking for an original survivor to recommission and enjoy, or preserve as a genuine piece of classic British motorcycling history.
Viewing welcomed and encouraged. Open to OffersI originally bought this from a neighbour of my uncle who had this bikes for a long time, and it was one of his first bikes.
I bought this with the intention of restoring it back on the road and riding, but have not had the time to dedicate to such a project. I did a carb clean and changed the fluids, and got the bike running, but since then I have not done anything else to it, other than keep the tyres inflated and keep the engine moving on the kick start.
