Original seating and Rock & Roll Bed have been removed but are available to the purchaser if required included in the price. I bought the van as a retirement project in 2017 to keep me busy and mentally active and although I have not spent every day working on it as we spend a lot of time out of the country it has been a labour of love for me in the ensuing years. The van was in a poor state when purchased and was immediately stripped completely and the whole body sent for chemical de-rusting and protective dipping. I decided to convert it from a Camper into a Day Van and designed and manufactured all new rear seating. The roof had a sheet steel plate badly welded into it to cover the aperture originally for a pop up roof. This was removed, the roof strengthened and a new large sun roof fitted. The colour was changed to a two tone original VW paint spec by a local body shop specialist.
