Description
OPX 379 is in excellent condition and has been carefully restored and maintained by Hall’s Garage in Bourne, Lincolnshire. It retains its original colour and dashboard, and a fifth gear has been added. It has been stored indoors in a Carcoon, which can be included in the sale. Recent new fittings include distributor cap, starter motor, coil. The ownership history of OPX 379 has been traced, and full details are available. It has had five owners, the first owner being a district nurse in Enfield. In 1989, the car was bought by Mr Norman Brewit from the Isle of Man and re-registered there as 27 NMN.
While in the IoM, it appeared in the 2000 film Relative Values, which also starred Julie Andrews, Stephen Fry and William Baldwin. A flyer for the film is available. In 2015, the car returned to England and was re-registered as OPX 379, its original registration.
