Description
1955 A7 Shooting Star with non matching numbers (crankcases from a 650) but transferable plate. In good working order apart from a feeble front brake and a bit of rust on the rear wheel. New Avon tyres and battery.
I bought this bike in '88 from a chap in Shoreham and bunged in a 650 (hence the RR transfer) as the previous engine was somewhat tired but reverted to a 500 in due course. Frame powder coated, speedo rebuilt, wheels rebuilt etc etc. back in '89 and only done 1, 500 miles since.
