The last of the steel frame CBR600’s known as the F3 and regarded by many as the best of the bunch. These literally did everything, from commuting to racing and did it well. Even by todays standards they are a capable, comfortable, quick and infinitely useable bike.
This likely unique example has resided with the same owner from just 6 weeks old and has covered a verified and guaranteed 3k miles from new!
Still wearing its original dealer number plate and the original Michelin tyres (yes I’d recommend changing them if you plan on using the bike more regularly) Still with the factory toolkit as new under the seat, owners manual, service book and spare key (still in their plastic bag) present with paperwork from new.
It is 100% on the button, having just had a thorough service, setup and shakedown and is ready to be enjoyed or go into a collection and appreciate. The carbs have been professionally cleaned and setup, it runs beautifully with no flat spots or hesitation. Mot’d until October.
Condition is excellent throughout, totally original and unmodified in arguably the best colour scheme reminiscent of the Urban Tiger.
These really were a victim of their own success with most having led colourful lives with numerous owners, modifications, repairs and lots of miles. Obviously not the case here, HPI clear, never thrashed or crashed.
