2000 Honda Civic 1. 4 Hatchback – Clover Green – Low Mileage
Reluctantly putting my much-loved Civic up for sale. This is a really honest, clean example that’s becoming harder to find, especially in this condition and colour.
Finished in Clover Green, the car has a great look and benefits from a few tasteful modifications including coilovers, Spoon-style exhaust, EK9-style front grille and BBS-style alloy wheels. It also has air conditioning, electric windows and a sunroof, making it a very usable modern classic.
The car drives exactly as a Civic should. The engine is smooth and reliable with no oil leaks, the gearbox is spot on, and the clutch works perfectly with no slipping. It starts first time every time and is a pleasure to drive.
The cambelt was replaced at 30, 000 miles, giving extra peace of mind, and the car has clearly been well looked after throughout its life.
Bodywork is very clean overall and the underside is exceptionally solid. The original arches are still present with factory spot welds visible, which is always nice to see on an EK Civic. There is a small bubble on one arch and a minor paint mark on one door, but nothing major and both are reflected in the condition of a 26-year-old car.
The interior is clean and tidy throughout, and the boot is completely dry with no signs of water ingress.
