She has always had 100ml of 2 stroke motorcycle oil put into the fuel tank with every new tank of petrol to protect the rotary engine and maintain engine life.

The Mazda RX-8 PZ is a limited-edition, UK-exclusive sports coupe released in 2006, jointly developed by Mazda and motorsport company Prodrive.
It was based on the high-power 231ps RX-8 but featured extensive chassis and aesthetic upgrades to enhance driver involvement without changing the engine output.
Key specifications and features include:
Performance: It retains the 1. 3L Renesis twin-rotor engine producing 228-231 bhp, delivering 0-62 mph in 6. 4 seconds and a top speed of 146 mph. It is exclusively paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Chassis & Handling: Prodrive lowered the ride height by 15mm and fitted Bilstein dampers and Eibach coil springs (with spring rates increased by over 60%) to reduce roll and pitch. The suspension geometry was revised for sharper steering while maintaining rear passenger comfort.
Exterior Styling: A bespoke aerodynamic rear spoiler, black mesh grilles, low-drag door mirrors, and a sportier rear silencer for enhanced exhaust note.
Production: Only 800 examples were built (480 in Brilliant Black and 320 in Galaxy Grey) and the PZ edition is considered a highly desirable collector's item due to its low production numbers and enhanced driving dynamics.
