Stunning black with chrome backdated 3. 2 Carrera. This car was featured in Porsche World when backdated around 15 years ago. The article says Paul Stephens oversaw the work in which the rust was cut out, sports exhaust fitted and the engine received a top-end rebuild only 15, 000 miles ago. The car has received regular light use in my ownership. The car is not perfect - a perfect example freshly backdated would be circa £90k, but it is perfectly usable as it is. Thick history folder going back around 20 years. The car is an absolute joy to drive and will come with a range of spares - brand new Porsche fuel pump (which I bought but never needed to fit), induction kit, harnesses and seatbelts so you can swap as you prefer. Genuine reason for sale - I bought it around 5 years ago to use while I restored an older 1970 car, which is currently being painted and will soon be coming back to me, at which point I will not have time to drive both. The car is soon to reach the 40 year threshold for historic status. It's not perfect but I'm happy to discuss known defects with anyone interested in taking a closer look.
