This Range Rover started life as a UK car with the reg displayed, but was taken to New Zealand early in its life as a personal import. On its return to the UK it was reunited with its original reg.
During its time in NZ is was colour changed from Plymouth Blue to White. Later in its life it was fitted with a Discovery 3. 9 which runs perfectly with no smoking or rattles.
Remarkably, the NZ climate has been very good to the car - the body and chassis are in amazing original condition. It has only had a small patch on one rear wheel arch for a seat belt mount. All the floors and bulkhead are in exceptional condition.
Everything seems to work as it should.
We bought it over a few years ago and MOTed it to use, but plans change and it went into storage until last week. It has had a new battery, an oil and filters service and a new ignition barrel.
There is no service history, but it does have its original handbook. V5 is present showing 4 previous owners. Either you get these or you don't. They sound great, they have a particular set of mannerisms on the road, they have great personality and people always want to chat about them. We would really prefer to keep it but lack of use will do it no good, so it needs a new home. Donny Dog does not form part of the sale!
