The Range Rover has been a phenomenon since launch in 1971, and in the subsequent years the car’s popularity has increased exponentially. Now Range Rover is one of the most sought-after cars in the world. Early cars are rare due to the type of the vehicle and the usage these cars got over the years gone by.
This car has been professionally restored not only to a very high standard, but also to be exactly (And I do mean exactly!) as it left the factory in 1972. The work that has gone into it has produced the most stunning car. It truly is breath taking, and the attention to detail can only be seen to be believed. The restoration is fully documented with a series of photographs taken as the work was carried out. It’s a total nut and bolt restoration which took place over a long period due to the owner seeking not only the parts to complete the project, but more importantly the “model correct” parts to complete it. The car even has a complete factory toolkit in the boot. Including the foot pump which are now almost impossible to find.
The car now looks like it should be in a Dutton Forshaw Main Dealer showroom. It genuinely is that good. The paint finish might even be said to be better than the original factory finish.
Personally, I’ve run Range Rovers for almost forty years. This is by far the best I’ve ever seen. It genuinely is the best of the best. There will not be another as good as this anywhere, and at only £79995 you couldn’t buy one today and restore it to this level for that price.
