Description
Its been difficult decision but its time I parted ways my lovely pre war 1932 sunbeam lion 600 cc longstroke side valve
A great bike runs along with endless
torque with the big 600 side valve engine, this one has the later 4 speed box much better on the road and the removable head makes it easier to maintain
In my ownership the clutch has been redone with new materials on the plates , its had a new front webb spring , new chain and what it needed keep her on the road and I have used this bike on vmcc/ sunbeam runs great fun
As a member of the marston sunbeam club (pre war sunbeams ) have been to the national rally weekends runs for 4 years as well metal bridge; Carlisle run , flecther run great bustard run
very excellent club good set of people
As you can tell I, ve enjoyed this bike now; I think its time to try pre war car to have more fun
As you can see the sunbeam is in good running condition , cosmetically not perfect but very honest usable motorcycle for the vmcc/ club runs
Come and have look ta jo
Originally registered 1932 : the plate on now is a Northampton reg from 1963 so maybe the old one taken off?
don;t know much of the history ; had an old guy come and say his friend had it in his garage for while morecambe way I purchased up that way as well ; that guy got the old 1963 reg back on it that's all I know but it's a good bike
