This car is far too good to consign to the graveyard. It has an excellent leather interior with no rips or tears, superb bodywork and under the bonnet sits the bomb-proof OM606 six cylinder diesel engine. The main drawback, as is often the case with these fantastic cars, is the floorpan. It needs extensive welding and I have neither the skills nor space to perform this work. It is a great prospect for someone with the necessary space and equipment. Please save this vehicle from car heaven as I am certain it will provide many years of enjoyable, practical motoring once sorted. The car runs and drives beautifully and at this price there is plenty of scope for turning a profit should the right person choose to renovate and move it on.
