A rare opportunity to purchase an exceptionally low-mileage 2004 Mazda MX-5, having covered just 7, 129 (updated) genuine miles from new.
The Arctic Edition was limited to 2, 000 examples in the UK and came with a distinctive specification including full leather upholstery, heated seats and air conditioning.
The car has been garaged throughout its life and was kept off the road in dry storage for approximately ten years before being recommissioned and returned to the road last year. As part of the recommissioning, it received a replacement timing belt and water pump, fuel injectors, spark plugs and battery. The engine oil and filters were changed, together with the brake fluid and gearbox oil, and a new set of tyres was fitted.
This is a remarkable example of the Mk2. 5 MX-5. The bodywork presents extremely well, the roof is in excellent condition and the original tonneau cover is included. The original interior also remains exceptionally clean and reflects the car’s very low mileage.
Importantly for this generation of MX-5, the sills and wheel arches are rust-free. The underside is incredibly tidy for a car of this age, and the vehicle remains completely original, unmodified and largely as it was when it left the showroom.
The car has remained within the same family from new, with just two owners: father and then daughter. It drives as its mileage would suggest and would suit someone seeking a highly usable future classic.
