1990 Golf GTI 1. 8, 8 valve 3 Door, big bumper model, complete running car, has a few modifications but mostly original. Recently had all new wheel bearings, all new drilled and vented discs with Mintex pads, refurbished front callipers, new mk4 rear callipers with Goodridge hoses, new drive shafts, new steering rack boot, ball joints, etc etcI’m forgetting lots I’m sure as I’ve owned the car for over a decade, has been tucked away in dry storage for years as an investment but Ill health means I’m no longer able to do the shell restoration myself. DRIVES LIKE A NEW CAR, apart from a couple of noisy tappets and brakes needing a final bleed. Cross hair headlights, (original’s plus twin lamp gti grille also included)Bonrath single wiper conversion, (works like new)Recaro blue/ black leather seats. Aftermarket alloys, Aftermarket coilover suspension, Stainless exhaust. Lots of spare parts included like refurbished front callipers crossmember and radiator support, engine sensors, injection system parts. The car needs some welding in some of the common places to be MOT’d and used for a year or two, or a shell restoration knowing the mechanics are sound!!It’s a complete and original classic that will continue to appreciate in value over time, and being the 8 valve gti model it literally drives like a go cart, much more fun on UK roads than the 16 valve model.
