Description
I acquired the Camionette in August 2011. The V5 states that the car was declared manufactured in 1937 and first registered in 1995. The registration number is not transferable. The car is particularly well known in North Herts/ Cambridgeshire A7 circles as previous owners include two prominent members of local clubs/ centres. It has been seen at the National Austin Seven Rally at Beaulieu on a number of occasions and has been used both in the UK and on tour in France. The unique pick-up body is beautifully constructed in timber and immensely practical. As can be seen from the photos there is a tilt cover for the load area and a folding soft top for the cabin. The engine starts readily and is strong and smooth. The gearbox is a little noisy. Does not bother me but I have a spare to sell if the buyer wishes to change it. Seats are adjustable and hinge to reveal two storage cupboards under the floor. I am 6'3" and I find the car very comfortable to drive. Happy to answer any questions. The car is located in North Hertfordshire.£6250
