Description
2011 BMW 335i SE Coupe, E92 LCI facelift, 7-speed DCT. Genuine Japanese import with 26, 500 km showing, which is approximately 16, 500 miles.-- ConditionThe car spent its life in Japan, where roads are not salted in winter, and the difference is obvious the moment you look underneath. Subframes, arms, sills and floorpan are as clean as the day it left the factory, and there are photos of the underside so you can judge for yourself rather than take my word for it. Paint is excellent throughout in Vermilion Red. The interior is unmarked and still smells like a new car. When it went in for its UK service, the BMW technicians commented that it looked like it had just rolled out of the factory.-- Specification-SE trim with factory M Sport suspension-Vermilion Red, the launch colour for the LCI coupe-7-speed DCT dual clutch gearbox-Comfort package, including Comfort Access keyless entry and start, and mirrors that fold from the key-Adaptive headlight package with Xenons-Sunroof-Factory rear privacy glass-Lumbar support and seat width adjustment-Factory Japan-market summer package, giving uprated engine cooling and stronger air conditioning-Two keys, each programmable with individual driver memory settings-- History and paperworkFull BMW main dealer service history from Japan, with the records included. Since arriving in the UK it has been serviced at a BMW main dealer, including brake fluid. MOT until 6 January 2027 with no advisories. Never mapped or tuned, drivetrain entirely standard. Road tax is currently £360 a year.-- Two Sensible bits done:-Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto fitted, operating through the original iDrive screen. Nothing was cut or replaced, and it looks and behaves completely factory.-Aluminium VRSF charge pipe fitted in place of the plastic, which is the known weak point on the N55. The original part is available to view. No other changes. Inspection is welcome and encouraged. This car stands up to a proper look. Viewings welcome by arrangement and I am happy to answer any questions or provide additional photos of specific areas. The E92 is the last 3 Series BMW built with hydraulic power steering. Everything after it went electric and that is the point where a lot of people feel BMW's steering went quiet. Pair that with the N55 single-turbo straight six and the seven-speed DCT, and you have a combination that simply is not available in a new car at any price. It is fast, it is comfortable & it sounds superb. What makes this one unusual is not just the mileage, it is the way the mileage was accumulated. Japanese cars of this era tend to be cherished and lightly used, and the absence of salted roads means they survive in a condition UK cars simply cannot match. The underside on this car is the best part of it and that is not something you can restore or fake. Add the launch colour, the sunroof, the summer package and a genuine 26, 500 km, and you have a car that is going to be hard to replace. It is driven with mechanical sympathy and looked after properly. If you are looking for a modern classic that you can actually use, that has not been modified, mapped or thrashed and that will only get harder to find in this condition, this is that car.
