A lovely, well-maintained 1987 Citroën 2CV6 Special, owned by us since February 2023. This is an honest, well-presented example that has benefited from continuous maintenance and sympathetic refurbishment, making it ready to enjoy immediately.
Finished in classic red with contrasting white wings and a black roll-back roof, the car has all the charm and character the 2CV is famous for, together with sensible improvements to enhance reliability, comfort and longevity.
The car benefits from a galvanised chassis, removing the biggest concern associated with many original 2CVs and providing excellent long-term protection.
Condition
The bodywork presents very well with a bright finish and straight panels. It is not a concours restoration, but a smart, genuine example that receives compliments wherever it goes.

Finding a genuine, well-maintained 2CV with a galvanised chassis, documented history and sensible recent expenditure is becoming increasingly difficult.
This is not an over-restored show car, but an honest, attractive and highly usable example that has clearly been cherished throughout its life. It is equally at home on a weekend drive, attending classic car shows or simply bringing smiles wherever it goes.
We are only selling because, unfortunately, we simply don't use it enough to justify keeping it as we have several classics. We would much rather see it enjoyed by someone who will appreciate it as much as we have.
