Supplied new by Dovercourt Volkswagen Bristol, the car has covered just 48, 000 miles from new and has had only two previous owners. Before our ownership, it remained within the same family for the first 21 years of its life, giving it a particularly appealing and reassuring history. The condition is remarkable, not just for it's age, but for any car. The paintwork presents beautifully, the interior has been well cared for, and the car has never been smoked in by us or previous owners. We are VW enthusiasts who enjoy regularly detailing the car, it's always run on premium fuel and stored in a covered car port. . Mechanically, it is superb. It starts instantly, drives beautifully and feels tight, quiet and refined. It has never let us down and genuinely drives like a much newer car.
