Description
This GTI was first registered in January 2016 as a Volkswagen management car, and has been faultless in the same family ownership since February 2017. The car drives beautifully having just had a major service including spark plugs and auxiliary drive belt. Each diamond cut wheel has been refurbished and the Michelin PS5 tyres have reasonable tread left. The bodywork does however suffer from some scratches commensurate with the age and mileage. As one of the last pre-facelift cars (2016 model year), it features a high level of equipment, notably including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The tartan fabric interior is lifted by the rare sunroof option. Other important features are adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, heated front seats and two-zone climate control. The Mk7 is widely considered the best Golf GTI and the definitive hot hatch; Jeremy Clarkson even owned one. Brand new Golf GTIs now start at £42k, and it is not possible to order a manual gearbox.
