1997 TVR CHIMAERA 500First registered in Jersey by TVR Dealer Fernhusrt Motor Co. Outriggers in good condition Strong service history:Maintained by Fernhurt annually between 1998 - 2005Taken off the road and garaged from 2005 - 2021 due to previous owners ill health. Overhauled and back on the road by William street services and sold by Ferhurst in 2021. Work carried out included renewing discs, callipers, and master cylinderSince 2021 the car has been serviced annually by specialist TVR 101 Car runs and drives great, however as expected for a car of this age there are some imperfections. Cosmetically it could do with fixing the crack on the wooden dash, front end suffers from stone chipping and there are a couple of scratches on the rear bumper and quarter. Mechanically the suspension bushings could do with replacing, the engine runs and pulls very well and has never let me down. The cams will likely need doing in the next 5k miles as they’re slightly noisy on overrun when decelerating at low rpm. Feel free to reach out and ask any questions!
