I bought this stunning MHR in 2023 when it became available through my local motorcycle shop GCS on woolsbridge industrial park. I would not have considered a Ducati bevel as they can be extremely expensive when they need engine work. This one has a receipt from GCS less then 2000 miles ago for a full engine rebuild using the best arrow conrods and omega pistons. Which is the reason I jumped on it. Yes you can get a cheaper one at auction just make sure you have a spare £8k spare for an engine overhaul! I’ve seen many of these bevel twins go though his workshop for a rebuild.
I also have receipts for sachs electronic ignition system and new surflex clutch kit, both installed by GCS. It has a good history file with various other receipts through its life like fork seals etc.
Easy starter as it’s set up right. It’s been very well cared for in my ownership, new oil and filter beginning of the year and ready to go and be used. Only selling as I’m trying to cut down my bikes, and I’ve hardly used it. It’s more a piece of artwork, although this one is good for riding!
The front fairing has a couple cracks around the fixing bolts on the front, you can see in the photos, I think this was quite common with them, didn’t bother me as it’s just aged gracefully in my opinion!
