I am the 3rd owner, had the car since 1999. It is very original but now needs restoration. This is a very rare car now, though they weren’t plentiful when new. It has part dealer history in its earlier life. It doesn’t have a current MOT and will need attention to rear arches (inner and outer) and the sills, plus some localised patches on front inner wings. Mechanically the engine runs and pulls well, gearbox fine with smooth change and no whine. I have not changed the clutch so it’s probably the original but still works fine. There is a knock on the off side rear wheel which may be a brake calliper problem, the ABS light does come on sometimes. Also the airbag light is on constantly. This is something different to work on and would make a very rare and usable car, sears 4 and has a large boot. Interior is good very minimal wear. Worth looking at as a project, it’s too rare and original to scrap. Obviously will have to be trailered as no mot.
