An honest example of a BMWZ3 series one, this car is 28 years old so clearly not showroom condition but is a great, usable car with real character that will stand out in a car park. The good bits:The car starts on the button has 12 months MOT a good roof with no tears, and a bunch of new parts that will increase its reliability and usability on the road. These include:New batteryRecent tyres, Yokohama all roundNew alternatorNew catalytic converterNew O2 sensorNew MAF sensorNew rear shock absorbersThe car drives well, keeps up with traffic and is great fun to drive. Roof works properly it’s manual so no mechanism issues to worry about. The not so good bits:The car is over 25 years old and red so expect some paint fade. Whilst the underside of the car is relatively rust free, the sill covers are showing their age. The interior is a bit scruffy from general wear and tear but there are no tears in the seats. There’s a few dents in the car, on the boot and pin dents on the doors but they don’t detract from the overall look and paint is intact so not rusting or deteriorating. Everything works, it’s never missed a beat whilst driving and I have spent money without thinking about resale value. This car is not the cheapest out there but I think it’s the best value example.
