Everyone loves a Moggy.... and so it seems!
I bought this split screen Moris Minor convertible from Robin Lawton September 2025 with the view of seeing if I was into classic cars and it seems I am and want to move up a level. The car is not a factory convertible but a well made one, a Delux Model meaning it came with a very efficient heater, and leather upholstery. The paint colour is Birch Grey with Maroon interior , hood and hood cover.
I had the car MOT'd in April with advisorys for renewing the rear brake cylenders which was done immediately. Although the engine is small it runs beatifuly and has done a few long trips and attended some local meetings. The engine was a reconditioned one in September 2013 by KAR Engine Services in Barnstable. It has electronic ignition system, negative earth battery, and a brand new fuel pump.
The original trafficator signals still work and I have had the bulb replaced with a chip that flashes so no-one can say they didnt see your intentions. The tyres are fairly new and the spare in the boot is the same make and size.
There is barely any rust and the underneath has had a full Lanoguard treatment, the hood is a good fit and complimented by a hood maker at one of the shows.
There are a few faults, the original speedo stopped working so i removed it to get repaired and calibrated but not done anything about it yet other than replace it with a temporary which under reads by 20mph, i have fitted a digital GPS Speeedo in the mean time.
All electrics work as they should and there is a box of spares which includes SU Carb, SU fuel Pump, original distributer, many gaskets. the original jack is in the boot along with a new scissor lift jack.
Maintenance has been done by a local garage and more recently by a classic car specialist.
According to the V5C there has been seven previous owners and accomanying invoices gives a paper trail.
