Regrettable sale of my TVR Griffith 4. 0 pre-cat. Unfortunately it does not get the use it deserves anymore, the wife is not very keen on going out in it and after 10 years it is time to move on (the car not the wife!).
Non-PAS. Full leather interior.
Excellent service history from new with all receipts and invoices. Huge history file. All old M. O. T's. M. O. T with no advisories to 08. 05. 27.
Only 3 previous owners plus myself.
Over £20k spent by myself over the last 10 years.
Full body-off chassis refurb carried out by RTR in 2016/ 2017 with new bushes, brake pipes & S/ S braided hoses, fuel lines, nuts and bolts etc.
Full respray 2023/ 24. Glass out, doors off, boot lid off, interior stripped and dynamat fitted with new carpet set. All body imperfections removed/ repaired and superb respray by Brendan at Concept Performance in Starmist Green. New front wishbones. Upgraded wing mirror mounts.
Wheels refurbished and painted bronze.
Uprated Hi-Spec front brakes with drilled & grooved discs. Drilled rear discs.
New clutch master & slave cylinder, alternator (79k), upgraded wiper motor.
ACT carbon plenum superflare trumpets and smooth bore intake kit.
New Bilstein dampers all round and front wishbones 2024.
Dash repaired with gauge brackets spot welded and new switches.
Rolling road remap by Joolz at Kits and Classics (2012): 219bhp at the wheels and 250lb/ ft torque.
Sounds fantastic, starts, stops and drives really well and no rotting or badly repaired chassis, or cracked, poorly repaired bodywork to worry about.
Excellent example of an early pre-cat. Will be sold with Steve Heath bible, Cambria Cirrus Surrey folding roof with bag, Leven roof cover (quite sought after now apparently), full indoor cover and accumate battery charger.
