1975 MGB Roadster – Chrome Bumper Conversion – Overdrive – Excellent History.
A beautiful 1975 MGB Roadster, finished in classic red and fitted with the desirable chrome-bumper conversion. Rostyle wheels. Original matching numbers, it was comprehensively refurbished with new body shell & panels circa 1990 (when mileage was 17, 733) and has remained with just four owners since February 1990. The car has covered approximately 34, 000 miles since its refurbishment and has been maintained and enjoyed throughout the intervening years. Solid underneath and totally clean and solid engine bay and boot. It has a substantial history file, including bills, some restoration photos, receipts and previous MOT documentation.
Importantly, the car has just passed a fresh 12-month MOT with no advisories (although MOT and Road Tax exempt). A refurbished steering rack was fitted for the previous MOT, and the car has also benefited from brakes and tyres in the last couple of hundred miles, a battery isolator and ongoing maintenance.
The 1. 8-litre engine is paired with the 4-speed manual gearbox and overdrive, making this an enjoyable and practical classic for both local trips and longer-distance touring.
