For sale is my 1976 Honda CB360 in gunmetal grey which I have owned since the tail end of 2018. It is in good general condition but is being sold as Spares or Repairs as it doesn't run currently. It has been lightly modified to be a usable classic in a street scrambler style and though I have loved owning it, it's time to move on as I'm looking to buy a flat.
I bought this in 2018 as a project to rebuild and modify myself, but having got home and realising the task ahead of me, I spoke to Jason at Zen Motorcycles in Kent, a Japanese motorcycle specialist, who agreed to help me turn it into what I dreamt of building. It was running poorly to start with, it had been sat unloved and needed work cosmetically as it had been tinkered with by previous owners but generally sat for a few years, so it got refreshed mechanically which meant an inspection to fix / adjust anything wrong as well as the bits below:
• Carb strip, clean and rebuild with rebuild kit, new diaphragms and balanced
• New spark plugs and leads
• Valve clearances checked and overall inspection of valves and cams with head off
• Boyer Bransden electronic ignition kit
• Rebuilt front and rear brakes with new pads, front braided lines and fluid
• Rebuilt front suspension and replaced rear shocks
• New headlight + booster and new rear light and indicators
• New brake and gear levers, headset bearings, front mudguard, grips and bar ends
• New Mitas tyres and inner tubes - only seen about 50-80 miles of use
• Rear hoop welded on and new Scrambler style seat
• Tank and side panels professionally resprayed by Sam Harris Automotive, new fuel tap, filters and lines
It used to ride well when it was sorted but it has been sat for quite some time. The engine turns over but it doesn’t currently run. I have a video of it running a while back which can be sent to serious buyers.
The electric start does work but it can be a bit sluggish. I have a trickle charger attached which I will include in the sale as well as all the old bits that came off the bike. The bike is a CB360 engine on a CB250 frame - they are the same platform so it's a direct swap - this is reflected correctly on the V5 document.
The carbs will need attention, the tank has formed some rust inside which will need a clean out and potentially a new petcock, and the front brake, despite it working, has wept around the bleed nipple so will need to be checked over. The right fork stanchion has very slight misting too so may need to be replaced. It will need a good going over and a good refresh before going out. So, this is a project bike, technically sold as spares or repairs, and is perfect for someone looking to get an Autumn / Winter
This is a usable classic intended for riding as opposed to being a show pony, though it does look good sat in the garage! It has about 15k miles and has quite a few owners but is ready for a new owner to give it some love and attention for a new lease of life.

It's been great owning it, riding it and even since it stopped running, even walking into the garage and seeing it. Once it's back up and running, it will make someone happy as it did me!
