Description
1974 Triumph T150 with Neil Beadling 1000cc big bore conversion.
It’s a truly stunning and unique looking version of a T150, built using some more modern components and yet designed to look like a modern classic.
Matching engine and frame numbers with an age related registration number.
Probably about 90% of the bike parts are new. Many are custom made.
On the few occasions the bike has been ridden it runs well, with a super light clutch, smooth gear change and excellent brakes.
Please note however that it has only done about 100 miles or so since the rebuild in 2019 and will still need running in and minor tweaking, plus a first proper oil change (an initial oil change was done at 50 miles).
The paint scheme is in stunning SEAT Petrol/ LAVA blue.
Just about every engine and gearbox component is new:
Special 82mm throw crank, new pistons, conrods, half race cams, David Madigan adjustable pushrod tubes, new high capacity oil pump. Cylinder head rebuilt by Neil Beadling with lead free exhaust valve seats, new guides, valves, springs etc.
All new gearbox internals including David Madigan reverse camplate (allows 1 down 4 up gear change). Balanced and overhauled clutch.
New alternator and rotor.
