1959 Triumph TR3a,
Ex Californian car in my ownership for 5 years, bought from the importer / restorer as a part finished project following a body off renovation, RHD conversion and bare metal re paint,
Many new parts fitted including,
Rack and pinion steering rack,
Complete clutch assembly,
Hi Torq starter motor .
Uprated water pump and electric cooling fan.
Uprated brake callipers and new tyres
Complete interior retrim
Aldridge Dark blue mohair hood, tonneau cover and stick bag.
The car has a TR4 gearbox fitted which gives the benefit of synchromesh on first gear, the original box is included in the sale.
I bought this lovely looking (bucket list) car which I have been improving whilst driving, just before my health and mobility started deteriorating so I have never really been able to enjoy it in the way I had hoped so no real distance traveled just driving to local shows and not even that this year so sadly its time to let someone else continue with the improving it or drive as it is, although it will need light recommissioning before being driven on the road, carbs tuning, brakes checking as it haven't been driven on the road for 12 months now.
